How do I register?
You can register online through our website using any of the "Register online Now" links like the one above on this page. You can also stop by the gym during office hours and we would be more than happy to register your child in person. Or if you'd like, just give us a call during office hours and we'll register your child right over the phone. You will be required to use a major credit card. For more information on how to contact us click here.
When can I register?
Registration for classes at Young's is ongoing which means that you can sign up at anytime. All tuition is monthly so we will simply prorate your tuition if you register in the middle of a month. We have our "School Year" curriculum which runs from September through May and our "Summer Curriculum" runs from June through August.
Do you offer Trial Classes?
Yes. At Young's we gladly like to offer potential clientele the opportunity to try one of our recreational gymnastics classes without any monetary expense to the parent. We do, however, require a "Release of Liability" form to be filled out and signed before a trial student is allowed to enter the gym. Also, the desired class for the trial lesson must NOT be at full capacity! For complete details about trial classes at Young's, please visit our Trial Class page by clicking HERE.
Do you offer multi-class discounts?
Yes. You only pay full price for your first class tuition and each one thereafter is at a discounted rate. It does not matter whether it's one child taking multiple classes or different siblings each taking one class, you will still only pay full monthly tuition for the 1st class.
Is there an annual registration fee?
Yes. If paid during the 1st quarter of our fiscal year, Sept.-Nov., our annual registration fee is $35 per student but not to exceed $50 per family. The fee is prorated throughout the course of the year as indicated below:
| September-November: |
$35/student |
$50 Maximum per family |
| December-February: |
$25/student |
$50 Maximum per family |
| March-May: |
$15/student |
$30 Maximum per family |
| June-July: |
ONLY $5/family! |
Summer Classes |
| August: |
NO Registration Fee! |
Applies To Summer Classes ONLY |
This fee helps defray administrative expenses including, but not limited to, liability insurance, software fees, etc. This fee is only paid once during the gym's fiscal year which starts each September.
***Note: There are NO registration fees for Day Camps, Private Lessons, Open Gyms, Parent's Nite Outs, or Birthday Parties.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Young's Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. has a NO REFUND policy! If circumstances arise that keep a student from attending classes, camps, or events, credit MAY be issued to the student's account at the discretion of management. This credit will be good for a period of 1 year.
Do you offer makeup classes?
Yes. Many children's activity centers like to use the analogy of taking college classes when describing their makeup policy, saying that your tuition pays for a class regardless of attendance. This is generally true and applies well for older students. However, we believe that it's not exactly fair to penalize a 4 year old because she was unable to attend class because her 2 year old sibling was sick.
That being said, we allow our patrons 1 makeup class per month as long as their account is current and in good standing. We still ask that you consider makeups to be a PRIVELEGE and understand that not all classes may be available to include a makeup if the enrollment for that class is at full capacity.
Recurring Monthly Payment
Young's Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. operates it's recreational class program using a monthly, ongoing registration process divided into two programs, the School Year program & the Summer program. The School Year program typically runs from September through May of the following year and the Summer program runs the months of June-August. When enrolling a student into the School Year program it is with the understanding that it is for the duration of the School Year program from the intial enrollment date. A "Drop Request" form must be submitted by the end of the month you wish to withdraw from the program to prevent the next month from being auto drafted from your account!
Auto Draft Policy
When enrolling in the School Year program of Young's Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. your credit card on file will be automatically drafted the 1st day of each month or on the 1st class day of the "4 week" month found here: http://www.youngsgym.com/Calendar.asp. Sometimes your 1st class of your 4 classes/month may be from the previous month. (ex.- For Dec. 2011, if your child takes class on Mondays, the 1st class for that month will be on Nov. 28th. When this happens, your card will be auto drafted on Nov. 28th, your child's 1st class day for that month.) If you wish to withdraw from the School Year program, you MUST submit a "Drop Request" form to the business office on or before the last day of the month you wish to withdraw. If not received by that time, your account will continue to be charged on the 1st of the month! This form may be picked up at the business office or downloaded from the Young's Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. website. You may drop off, fax, or email the completed "Drop Request" form with the understanding that the business office MUST receive the "Drop Request" form on or before the last day of the month to prevent auto drafting of the next month's tuition!
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that there may come a time when you need to withdraw your child from one of our programs. All we ask is that you let us know by the end of the month that you wish to withdraw by completing our Drop Request form. It's that simple! If you forget to let us know before the 1st of the month and we have already processed your payment for that month, your child can take those last 4 classes or we will credit your account for that amount and you will be able to use that money for any of our services for a period of one year: Private Lessons, Birthday Parties, Day Camps, Summer Camps, Open Gyms, Parent's Nite Outs, etc.
Can I stay and watch my child in class?
Of course you can!!! We love our parents to stay. You're welcome to observe your child in our glassed in lobby.
